Synopsis
A re-telling of The Last of the Mohicans by James Fenimore Cooper, with accompanying language and discussion activities. In America, during the French and Indian wars, two young women, Cora and Alice, set off on a dangerous journey to be reunited with their father, Colonel Munro. They are aided by Hawkeye, a brave frontier scout and Chingachgook and Uncas, his Mohican companions. On their way they must escape from the cruel Huron, Magua, and the French army.
